Our Story

We were founded in 1994 by Jeffery D. Gilliard during the accelerating global education through the internet race. EMETS bore its roots amid the great education technological rivalry that created vast opportunities for the small mission-oriented education provider. Providing services from the first office in Rockledge, Florida, EMETS secured various approvals to offer domestic and global emergency medical education to major contractors. Hospitals, EMS agencies, and aerospace clients fueled the firm's desire to take their educational success from the aerospace industry into several other sectors.

Years later, Mr. Gilliard became the Owner/CEO of EMETS's sister company, EMETSEEI Institute, a post-secondary EMT and Paramedic education school. He set his sights on an enormous feat – to guide EMETS and EMETSEEI to a position of industry leadership through delivery excellence. To achieve this, Mr. Gilliard was driven to create an excellent experience for his employees and customers by providing quality educational experiences in the medical education business.

EMETS & EMETSEEI Institute has grown considerably over the years, particularly during this last decade. From opening new locations and offering new services in the US Virgin Islands, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, BVI, Taiwan, Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, and Bangladesh to contracts with the US Army, USN, USSF, CHSi, Dyn-Corp, Yang Enterprises, NASA, Wolf Creek Federal Services and our local aerospace industry. We are becoming one of the world's most competitive and respected emergency medical education providers; EMETS & EMETSEEI hopes to sustain that growth while never losing sight of our most important purpose – fulfilling our customer's missions with excellence, affordability, and superior educational options.
