Emergency Medical Education & Training Services (EMETS) was founded in 1994 by Jeffery D. Gilliard during the early expansion of global education through emerging internet technologies. What began in a small office in Rockledge, Florida quickly grew into a mission-driven organization dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency medical education.Our Story

 From its earliest days, EMETS secured approvals to provide domestic and international emergency medical education for major contractors and organizations. Partnerships with hospitals, EMS agencies, and aerospace clients helped shape the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation in medical training. These early successes in the aerospace sector opened opportunities for EMETS to expand its educational services into multiple industries worldwide.  In the years that followed, Mr. Gilliard also became the Owner and CEO of EMETSEEI Institute, EMETS’ sister organization and a post-secondary EMT and Paramedic education school. With both organizations working together, his vision has been to position EMETS and EMETSEEI as leaders in emergency medical education through quality instruction, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to students and partners. 

 Over the past three decades, EMETS and EMETSEEI Institute have grown significantly. The organization has expanded services across the United States and internationally, including programs and projects in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, the British Virgin Islands, Taiwan, Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, and Bangladesh.

Throughout this journey, EMETS has supported a wide range of respected partners, including NASA, the United States Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Space Force, CHSi, DynCorp, Yang Enterprises, Wolf Creek Federal Services, KBR, Vectrus, and members of Florida’s aerospace industry.

Today, EMETS and EMETSEEI Institute continue to grow while remaining focused on their core purpose: supporting the missions of our partners and students through high-quality, affordable, and mission-focused emergency medical education.
